Felicitating the young leaders of The Millennium School, Amritsar, The Investiture and Interact Club Installation Ceremony for the session 2022-23 was held on July 29th, 2022. It was a much awaited moment for all the office bearers and their parents, as the students were to take their official positions.
The ceremony began with the customary lighting of the lamp by the Chief guest of the event Mr Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh, Respected Principal Ms. Shailja Tandon, Vice Principal Ms Nandini Malhotra , General Operations Head Mr Jaspreet Walia, Activity Coordinator, Ms. Nivisha Kohli Kapoor and the Guests of Honour. It was followed by a prayer to the Divine. The students of the school presented an energetic dance performance to give a beautific start to the event. Also, the school choir enchanted the audience with a melodiously sung 'Tu Jhoom' that created a mood of enlightenment and inspiration.
Further, The Investiture Ceremony was administered by calling all the office bearers on stage. The oath was administered by the revered Principal, Ms. Shailija Tandon.
The honorable Principal Ms Shailja Tandon, gave an enriching address on leadership essentials and wished the student council to soar as high as an eagle. Mr Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh, an MLA of Punjab Legislative Assembly graced the event and congratulated all the office bearers and also inspired the children to follow their heart and passion.
Our guest of honours were the Rotarian Kamal Uppal, Dr Gurpreet Bal and Ashish Sharma Rotary Interact Chair.
The day closed with the vote of thanks given by Vice Principal Ms Nandini Malhotra. She expressed her gratitude for all the parents who took out time for this special day.
