Teachers Day Celebrations at TMSA

eachers are incredibly important in society; in fact, in many ways they are linchpins of society. They play many roles in our lives. Apart from imparting knowledge to students, they are also great mentors, counselors and friends that help us grow and achieve desired goals in life. Teachers Day is celebrated as a tribute to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, who was a philosopher, statesman and President of India. His birthday is celebrated as Teachers Day in India. This day gives an opportunity to honor our teachers for their contribution in shaping the generations.
The Teachers Day was celebrated at The Millennium School, Amritsar on 4th Sept. 2017. On this day, a special assembly was conducted by 10+1 students. The assembly started with the “Guru Vandana” followed by dance performances. The teachers were involved in various game activities. 
At the end, the Principal ma’am Ms. Sunita Babu motivated the teachers to keep the spark lit in their hearts; always work with a relentless spirit towards shaping the future of students. She expressed her gratitude & thanked the students for putting up a thoughtful assembly.
