A traffic awarness campaign was intiated by the The Millennium School Amritsar with the help of local traffic police on Tuesday. A Three day campaign aimed at educating people about traffic rules besides persuading them to follow the rules . The students appealed to people to wear helmets fasten seat bellts avoid rash driving and using cell phone while driving . The students presented rose buds to people at custom chowk , Lawrence road & Crystal Chowk besides spreading awareness about traffic rules of the city.
Director of the school Mrs Rita Kaul informed that the awareness drive was dedicated to our country on a very special occasion of 15 August . Its not only the part of our students’ education but also our endeavour to connect to the masses for a better society . S.P Traffic B.K Singla , Principal Mukesh Shelat and ASI Paramjit Siingh were also present there
