The Virtual Millennium Challenge 2021

“Speech is power: speech is to persuade, to convert, to compel.”
The Millennium School, Amritsar successfully culminated a two day long Virtual Literary Forum, ‘The Millennium Challenge’ 2021 wherein the virtual platform became abuzz with excitement of participants from 22 schools across the country. The budding orators pulsated with creativity and talent as they put their best foot forward.
This Literary Forum comprised a Debate on the motion ‘OTT Platforms need creative Freedom and not Censorship’, a Speech cum PowerPoint Presentation on the topics: Media Influencers are the new Trendsetters and Technology is impacting the human mind for the Better and Poetry Recitation on the topic ‘Life behind the Screen: Missing the Fun and Frolic of physical school.
The esteemed panel of judges consisted of renowned academicians, theatre artists as well as people from the mass media fraternity. Mr Daljeet Sona , Mr Maninder Singh , Mrs Neelam Prabha , RJ VJ Ms Upasana Bhardwaj , Dr M Sangeeta , Professor Sudesh Nanda , Mr Arvinder Singh Chammak , Ms Kanika Mehra , Ms Sana Khanna , Ms Latika Arora ,Ms. Jyotsana Sahni(Rj Sana) were our revered judges. The Rolling trophy for debate was bagged by Delhi Public School Chandigarh, for the speech cum presentation it was bagged by The Millennium School Kurukshetra and for poetry, it was bagged by both The Excelsum High School Amritsar and The Millennium School Indore. The forum was a kaleidoscope of opinion, thoughts, ideas and perspectives that enhanced the insight of all the spectators.
As per our tradition ,The Millennium School Amritsar participated in all the categories but did not compete for the trophy however won praises from honourable judges.
The school principal Ms Shailja Tandon congratulated all the participating schools and encouraged the students to continue to reflect on pertinent issues of the present times.
