‘Spring has returned, earth is like a child that knows poem.’ The Millennium School, Kurukshetra celebrated the arrival of the spring season through Andaaz-E-Millennium on 9 February 2020. Plethora of activities were the attractions on this special day. The school field was totally transformed into an alluring fair site. A lot of fun game-stalls were installed. The parents who had accompanied the children were extremely enthusiastic and excited. They tried their luck at almost each game-stall and won attractive gifts in return. All the games were not only magnetic, funny and engaging, but also unique and novel to all.
In Andaaz-E-Khel Kud, Aao Kurafaat Karein, Hook the Can and Arm Wrestling were the centre of attraction. In Andaaz-E-Khelkud, there were Picking Themocol, Ball with Pin, Unlucky Six, Angry Birds, Peppa Pig, Hold your Expressions, Riddles and Tongue Twisters and so on. Each game filled all the players with excitement and anticipation. Besides this, Andaaz-E-Attraction comprised of Kids’ Zone, Horse Riding and Bumpy Jumpy were the icing of cake. All the visitors tried their hand in every game to win the fascinating items. In Andaaz-E-Raag, the scintillating Bollywood dance numbers-Mera Joota Hai Japani, Altu Jalaltu, Party with Bootnath, flash mob and fusion songs forced everyone to swing on their toes. The elderly people from Prerana Oldage Home were the special guests who acknowledged and appreciated the classical songs sung by the students and teachers.
Relishing sumptuous Indian and Chinese dishes was an integral part of everyone’s to-do list. Near about 116 lucky draws were announced for the raffle-ticket possessors. AC, Smart LED TV, bicycles, smart watches, gift coupons and vouchers were among the various gifts given to the lucky winners. All the visitors appreciated the school for such engaging and bounce-back activities. Principal Dr. A. K. Singh thanked all the students, parents and sponsors to make the grand event a huge success. He stated that such events are very imperative in life to break the monotony and to rejuvenate it to accomplish the assigned tasks more vigorously.
