Science Exhibition

“In questions of science, the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual.” – Galileo Galilei
Science exhibition was organized in The Millennium School, Kurukshetra with fervour. All the students of classes VI to XII participated enthusiastically in the exhibition and made amazing models on the various topics of Science. Students made different models, both still as well as working, to exhibit their scientific temperament. It was evident that they had researched for their respective models under the guidance of their teachers earnestly. The fellow students of all the classes and their parents also visited the exhibition to appreciate the hard work put in by the Millenniumites.
Each student presented and explained the model eloquently. The students articulated how science is inseparably involved of our life. They depicted various scientific phenomena through their creative models on modulation, rainwater harvesting, radar system, cells, human heart, etc. Students made working models on Pascal’s law, drip irrigation, etc. Besides this, there were presentations on electric circuit, atoms, nuclear plant and states of matters. Dark Room Experiments also were the centre of attraction. Hence, it was depicted how science is involved in each object used in everyday life.
Each visitor was left astounded by the praiseworthy efforts of the students. Appreciation was observed when all the explorers visited the galleries repetitively. It was indeed an exhibition which gave the students exposure and confidence to present their thoughts and mind lucidly. Director-Principal Mrs. Amita Kochhar and headmistress Mrs. Deepika Kaushal appreciated the endeavours of the science teachers and the students to make this show extremely successful.
