TMS, KKR CELEBRATES 71TH REPUBLIC DAY WITH EXHILARATION

The 71st Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at The Millennium School, Kurukshetra on 25th January 2020. All the teachers and the students marked their presence in the school MPH to celebrate this conspicuous occasion.
Avika of class VII appreciated the Motherland India through her poem “Janani Swarg Bhumi Swarg Se Mahan Hai”. Divyam of class VIII appealed the students through the recitation of his poem to be the good Indians by following certain duties. The choir group of class V students presented a patriotic song “Chandan Hai Is Desh Ki Maati” with extreme patriotism. The whole school joined the choir and the song reverberated in the surroundings. Jaydev Sahota reminded the vitality of this red letter day through his encouraging speech. Then, there was the chanting of Udghosh ‘Desh Ke Bachche’ as a pledge to protect the nation as our foremost duty and responsibility.
All the students were also addressed by the Principal Dr. A. K. Singh. He exhorted to respect and serve their country with sincerity. He said that we should do our best to make India a developed nation and must feel proud to be Indians. The event concluded with the singing of the melodious National Anthem.
